The first Harrier league match of the season takes place at Wrekenton, on the fields just behind Cardinal Hume School. There is ample parking available in the school car-park, with access off Old Durham Road. Parking will also be available in the QE Park and Ride carpark which is just across the road from the school. The fields are accessed via a footpath which is situated on the far side of the stone cottages, to the right of the school (it should be well signposted on the day).

Don’t forget to bring your Birtley vest, spikes if you have them, safety pins, a bag for your muddy things afterwards, and most important of all, YOUR NUMBER! This will be your number for the whole Harrier season so please look after it!
If this is your first event of the season, you will be given a number by one of our coaches when you arrive, or it will be in the club tent ready for collection – look out for the Birtley flag flying outside! You can find helpful info on what to bring and what to expect here.
Here is a list of the currently registered Birtley athletes – if you’re not listed but would like to take part, please contact the club using the details given above. The list shows your age group and which pack you will be running from – please ensure you start from the correct pack or you may be disqualified.
