First events will start at 10:00am on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday. Registration will close 45 minutes before the start of most events and athletes must report to the call area with their numbers 30 minutes prior to the published start time of their event. For more information contact 01670 362668 or 07933093975
Numbers must be collected from registration, which will be on the main concourse in the Stadium, and retained if competing on both days. Please ensure that you declare for each event in which you intend to compete, on each day. Failure to do so may result in you being excluded from the event.
The Call-Up area will be at the far end of the Main Concourse and athletes will be collected there, before being escorted to their competition area. It is the athlete’s responsibility to ensure that they are at the Call Up area at the correct time. If you fail to report to the CALL ROOM you will be excluded from the event.
Should you decide to withdraw from an event after you have declared, please inform registration so that the seeders can allocate heats correctly. Athletes who wish to withdraw from an event after the heats must notify the referee, giving a valid reason; otherwise they will be excluded from participating in all subsequent events on both days of the meeting.
Athletes must wear the vest of their first claim affiliated club, or their County, Territorial or National vest, uka rule 17(3)
Numbers must be worn on the front and back of vests in all events other than High Jump and Pole Vault, where one number maybe worn on the front or back. Numbers must not be cut or folded and must be pinned at each corner.
Personal starting blocks are not allowed. Stadium Blocks will be provided for 100, 200m and sprint hurdles. Any field event competitors who wish to use personal throwing implements should register their implements well in advance of their event at the designated room.
Entries are welcome from non NECAA competitors, however, in those events for which heats and finals are held, such competitors may not displace NECAA athletes from any subsequent heat or final.
Parents, coaches and spectators should enter the stadium via the main entrance, turn left and go up the stairs and along the concourse. Entry is by programme, cost £3.00, although a reduced price of £2.00 applies on Sunday if you also have Saturdays programme. Coaches are free on production of their coaches’ pass.
Sports Massage/Physio for competitors will be provided by Physioforall
