Although the club has had much excitement today with our first international athlete, let’s not forget our younger athletes were performing with just as much determination and grit as Lydia, in a hard fought indoor competition at Monkton Stadium.
Here are today’s results – coach Pam Bradshaw said that all 17 athletes who competed did amazingly well.
u9 girls 60m
Lauren Kelsall qualified for final and gained 2nd place with 9.7
u9 boys 60m
Samuel Hutchinson qualified for final and came 2nd with 10.2
Harry Cole qualified for final and came 4th with 10.4
u10 girls 60m
There were two finals:-
Tess Graham came 4th with 10.1
Amy Drummond was 3rd with 10.0
Jessica Burnett came in second place.

Molly Elliot came 2nd with 9.2
u11 boys 60m
Michael Graham came 1st with 9.1
Luke Appleby was 3rd with 9.4
u9 girls 300m
Lauren Kelsall was 2nd with 1.05
u10 girls 450m
Tess Graham came 2nd with 1.44.4
u11 girls 600m
Molly Elliot was 2nd with 2.16.8
u11 boys 600m
Matthew Cleugh finished 1st with 2.12.5
