2009 Saltwell Park races

Well done to all the athletes and supporters that turned out on Saturday to represent us on a very cold but bright day. Considering the weather conditions, Saltwell Harriers must be congratulated on their efforts to keep the races on and we had some excellent results.
U13 Girls.

1st – Sophie Turner.
3rd – Paige Gilhespy.
U17 Boys
3rd – Alex Flowers.
Senior Men
7th – Neil Allan.
88th – Barry Murray.
140th – Karl Oakes.
Senior Women
55th – Karen Oakes.
A special well done to Karen Oakes who after only 9 weeks running put on a club vest and managed to get round the 10K with a little help from her team mates and supporters. Many thanks to Vince Tayor for taking some great photos, which can be seen here.
