Christmas/New Year Endurance Training Sessions


Listed below are endurance training sessions available over the Christmas and New Year break. The club is shut down for 2 weeks but that doesn’t mean you have to!! Everyone welcome. Each session will last at least an hour.

    Run through woods

    Hill Session

  • Wednesday 25th December 2013
    It’s Christmas!! Have a day off

    Approx 10am (to be confirmed)
    Aurora Harriers Boxing Day Run
    Nice easy run then into the Shepherd & Shepherdess for a couple of pints

  • Saturday 28th December 2013
    South Shields Beach Session
    Meet on the beach at the Marsden Rattler Pub
    10:00am
    Bring old trainers to run in, a change of shoes & clothes/warm clothing and towel. You’ll be running in the water so be prepared to get wet (2hrs)

  • Sunday 29th December 2013
    Beamish (Shepherd & Shepherdess)
    9:30am
    Run through woods

  • Monday 30th December 2013
    Meet at Winlaton Mill Car Park on the A694 road from Blaydon to Rowlands Gill
    10:00am
    Session on footpaths & through woods

  • Tuesday 31st December 2013
    Meet at Chopwell Woods car park
    Chopwell Woods near Chopwell Woods Rd, High Spen, Rowlands Gill
    10:00am
    Good paced run through woods

  • Wednesday 1st January 2014
    Happy New Year!!

      Message from Tommy:- Due to the forecast wet and windy weather over the next few days I suggest you bring you XC spikes, even for Beamish, but not for the beach.
