Dear Parents
I am taking this opportunity to write to you about the forthcoming track & field season. We have already this season had athletes competing at various open competitions that have taken place across the region. The athletes competing in these events have been mainly the athletes who have represented the club throughout the winter season at road and cross country events.
We have a lot of young athletes in the club who never compete for whatever reason and therefore I would like to make an impassioned plea to these athletes to try and compete in at least the 4 Young Athletes League matches which are free, local and require athletes in as many events as possible to be successful in the League
If your child wishes to compete at other events, details can be obtained from the club notice board or any of the coaches at the club.
I hope you do not mind me writing to you but I feel that it is important to get all our members actively involved in events promoted by the club where possible.
Ed Lown
Coach co-ordinator
